Dishonored 2 – Everything You Need to Know To Gear Up For the Sequel

Arkane Studio’s popular stealth game Dishonored is getting a sequel. The sequel will release on November 7 of this year. Here’s everything you need to do to catch up on the lore while you wait for the sequel.

Comics

Head on over to the official Bethesda site for the Dishonored comic. It will explain the backstory of both Corvo and Emily. It will also shed some light on how Emily attained all those assassin abilities so readily advertised in the game’s trailers. The first issue of the comic was released on August 3rd. The next issue will be released on September 7 according to the official Bethesda website.

Novel

Adam Christopher is writing Dishonored The Corroded Man, as part of a trilogy set between the events of the first and second game. The plot centers around Emily and her father Corvo. Emily leads a dual existence, fulfilling her duties as Empress while also training with her father in the art of stealth and combat.  A strange man enters the city of Dunwall seemingly possessing the same powers as Daud in the first Dishonored game. and it is up to the duo to stop this “mysterious enemy”.

Replay the original game

Dishonored Definitive Edition is available on Steam for $19.99. It includes the base game as well as all the additional content. You can brush up your assassin skills by trying the Dunwall City Trials.

Dishonored 2 is a first person stealth game with two playable characters, Corvo Attano and his daughter, Emily Kaldwin. Emily and her mother were ambushed in the beginning of the first Dishonored game. Corvo had to prove his innocence and restore his daughter Emily to the throne.
