Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered multiplayer trailer looks amazing

For starters, the game uses yellow hit markers in place of the green one. It’s hard to say exactly how the community will receive it but so far the feedback has been unanimously positive. The trailer featured maps like Crash, Backlot, Overgrown, Bog, Overgrown, Showdown and Pipeline. The maps looked stunning and brand new in the HD remaster. The vegetation in Overgrown and Pipeline looked exceptional, one could easily hide there as a sniper and blend in visually. The models were true to the original with minor changes. There were slight changes in animation too like with movement and reloading.

Gun sound have changed drastically. The Deagle doesn’t have that loud crack to it which made it more realistic and it now sounds more like a Beretta or colt. SMGs and rifles also have sounds that make them look and feel under-powered. We also noticed the player examining his weapons occasionally during gameplay in the same way that CS:GO players can examine their current weapon by the press of a button.

The explosions looked spectacular. The trailer showed Marines rushing from B down to mid and someone fired a rocket towards a vehicle on the road. The ensuing explosion followed by the player, close to it, knocked back significantly looked cinematic. Fog and smoke now hid players more clearly, so you wouldn’t see someone emerging from the smoke until they are completely out of it. This adds tactical advantage to the Call of Duty Modern Warfare remaster.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare remaster will release for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on November 4 this year. If you own a PlayStation 4, you can enjoy the beta by pre-ordering the game. Let us know what you think about the multiplayer reveal in the comments.
