The most beloved MTV all time classic, “Beavis and Butt-Head”, is headed to return for a special Halloween surprise marathon this weekend. It runs along a special trivia, which offer the viewers a chance to win amazingly cool prizes from MTV during the Twitter contest.

The Halloween special of “Beavis and Butt-Head” will be aired on television with a special title, “The Great Cornholithon” or “Butt-O-Ween”. This classic show will be broadcasted on Sunday, October 29 at 5pm (Eastern Time) on MTV Classic.


The 24-hour special marathon will broadcast one episode full time and it will also broadcast the “Bundgholio: Lord of Harvest” episodes. During the 24 hour “Butt-O-Ween” marathon, MTV Classic will be hosting a trivia contest for fans and viewers throughout the entire broadcast.

The trivia contest invites fans and viewers from all parts of the globe to answer questions that randomly pops up during the special marathon. The contest will run until 5pm; Sunday, October 30 (Eastern Time). All you got to do is, answer the questions on Twitter and tag the channel’s official Twitter account (@mtvclassic) along with the hastag #buttoween, for a lucky chance to win a lot of amazingly cool prizes from MTV Classic.

MTV Classic will run the all-time hits, “The Lost Boys”, “Ghostbusters” and “Ghostbusters II” on 30 October and 31 October, along with continuous Halloween special theme music videos and tele shows from 6am to 1pm (Eastern Time), followed by the “Weekend at Bernies”.

The episode named “Bungholio: Lord of the Harvest” from the “Beavis and Butt-Head”, is a part of the famous sitcom anime series which released its DVD on November 2005, “The Mike Judge Collection”. Despite making headlines in many controversies and criticism, the “Beavis and Butt-Head” grabbed the hearts of millions of viewers around the globe.
