AT&T’s Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note 3 are now receiving the Android 5.0 Lollipop update.
The pertinent documentation has been posted by the carrier on its site, and roll-out of update has already started today.
For Samsung Galaxy Note 4, the upgrade comes in at around 1.2GB, so it may take a while to completely download. Besides all of the attributes that Lollipop brings with it, and the Android system version bulge, the newest software features two service add-ons – Find My Mobile and Reactivation lock.
After updating to the latest software, you phone will run Android 5.0.1 with build LRX22C.N910AUCU1COC2.
For Samsung Galaxy Note 3, the update package with build number LRX21V.N900AUCUEOC1 comes in the same size as Note 4.
Android 5.0 Lollipop brings a lot of changes and enhancements to Samsung’s 2013 main phablet. It includes brand new ART runtime and refreshed TouchWiz user interface.
If you have not received a notification update, you can check it manually through Settings > About device > Software update.
Note:- The carrier has clearly mentioned that updated can be downloaded over Wi-Fi only.
