As reported on May 28, Asus will be announcing a new smartphone dedicated to selfie obsessed generation at the Computex 2015 in Taipei, Taiwan named Asus Zenfone Selfie. The device will have a 13MP front camera with laser auto-focus.
The ZenFone Selfie features a 5.5” IPS LCD screen with 1080p resolution. With Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 and Adreno 405 GPU for graphic, it is powered by 2GB/4GB of RAM and 16/32/64GB storage options.
Running Asus UI on top of Android 5.0 Lollipop, it has a 13MP camera with Toshiba sensor with an F/2.2 aperture and bears 24mm wide-angle lens. The selfie camera offers 88 degree wide angle by default and Selfie-panorama mode will cover the more area if required. Zenfone Selfie is also offering an optional Swing accessory to fine-tune the selfie viewpoint and it also acts as a kickstand. Currently there is no information on price and availability of the device.
