Android 7.0 Nougat is already slated to come to selected Google devices, with other manufacturers slowly releasing their update plans. Recent reports state Google already sent Nougat firmware to various manufacturers. Since the firmware is sent, see which models from Xiaomi, Asus and OnePlus are planned to receive the newest Android version.

Xiaomi is known for its delays of the new Android releases for its models, with only MIUI receiving updates. But the Chinese company should bring Nougat to a number of recent models. Phones that’ll receive Nougat update are Xiaomi Mi 5, Mi Note, Redmi 3, Redmi 3S, Redmi Note 3, Redmi 3A, Mi Pad 2, and Redmi 2 Prime. Although the new Android will most certainly be shipped for the models mentioned above, the exact release dates are unknown at the moment.

Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe

IBTimes reports that all Asus Zenfone devices should receive Android Nougat update. The list includes Zenfone 3, Zenfone 3 Deluxe, the Ultra phablet, Laser, and Max. On top of that, some Zenfone 2 models (like Zenfone 2 Selfie, Zenfone 2 Laser, and Zenfone Max) could also receive the update.

OnePlus X recently got Marshmallow update, but OnePlus plans to bring Nougat soon to some devices. One thing could get the users worried, the fact that models sporting Snapdragon 810 might be skipped due to the compatibility issues. This means OnePlus X and OnePlus One may be left out of the Nougat update plans.

On the other hand, OnePlus 2 and OnePlus 3 should receive the update, with OnePlus 3 getting it first, probably before the end of the year. OnePlus 2 could receive the update after OnePlus 3.

Samsung and Sony already announced that some of their models will receive Android Nougat with Samsung already testing Nougat on S7/S7 Edge. Motorola is preparing Nougat for its selected devices as well, and LG V20, the first Android smartphone shipping with Nougat out of the box, should get released in a couple of days.
