The Apple iPhone 8 is expected to release in September this year. The Samsung Galaxy S8 is pegged to launch in March and steal customers of iPhone 8 months ahead of its release. Here are the 5 unique features of the Galaxy S8 that are unlikely to be seen on iPhone 8.

1. 3.5 mm Headphone Jack

The iPhone 7 that was launched last year lacks a 3.5 mm audio jack. Users can wirelessly listen to music on iPhone 7 by connecting airpods. Users can also use a Lightning to 3.5 mm adapter to connect 3.5 mm headphones on iPhone 7. The iPhone 8 is also rumored to lack a 3.5 mm audio jack. Rumors suggest that the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will continue to feature the standard 3.5 mm jack.

2. DeX Mode

The Samsung Galaxy S8 is rumored to come with a Continuum-like feature of Windows 10. The potential game changer feature will metamorphose the Galaxy S8 into a full-fledged desktop PC by connecting it to a dock, an external display, keyboard and mouse. Dubbed as DeX, the dock is expected to feature an HDMI port for connecting it to an external display.

Not even close. These features are meaningless to me. A 3.5mm headphone jack? Really? Don’t miss it and don’t want old technology. Who wants to dock their phone to a PC? I would just use my iPad with handoff. This article is lame. Samsung couldn’t get me to switch period.
